SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used to search for buried biological objects or remains thereof. Disclosed is a method of locating buried biological objects or remains thereof and a device for carrying out the method. The device has a scanning unit and a transceiver. The scanning unit includes a driving generator 1, a power amplifier 2, a circulator 3, a transceiving antenna 4, a dipole antenna 4.1, a frame antenna 4.2, high frequency amplifiers 5 and 29, phase detectors 6 and 37, a computer 7, a heterodyne 8, mixers 9 and 11, a first intermediate frequency amplifier 10, a second intermediate frequency amplifier 12, a correlator 19, a multiplier 20, a low-pass filter 21, an amplifier 22, a controlled delay unit 23, a range indicator 24, a reducing gear 25, a platform 26, an angle indicator 27, an adder 28, amplitude detectors 30 and 31, a divider unit 32, a threshold unit 33, switches 34 and 35, a differentiator 36, a beam pattern control unit 38, a control voltage generating unit 39 and a motor 40. The transceiving unit comprises a piezoelectric crystal 13, a microstrip antenna 14, electrodes 15, buses 16 and 17 and a set of reflectors 18.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining location of buried biological objects or remains thereof.
