FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: in process of internal combustion engine (ICE) operation combustion chamber is filled with compressed air and fuel, or air-fuel mixture is formed under pressure outside combustion chamber. This kind of arrangement makes it possible not only to burn fuel more completely, but also to change automatically different set parameters in engine operation in order to obtain maximum possible efficiency factor, and also to use different types of fuel and their mixtures without modification of ICE design. Suggested arrangement works with maximum possible efficiency factor at any load on engine shaft, since at all modes of operation required number of operating cylinders, fuel concentration in mixture and combustion chamber pressure are automatically selected. It is possible to use this engine under water, in vacuum mediums. It is possible to use any fuel, excluding solid fuel, for operation of this engine. It is possible to use oxygen or oxygen-fuel mixture instead of air or air-fuel mixture.
EFFECT: higher efficiency factor of internal combustion engine.
