SUBSTANCE: flexible element represents an elastic tapered oval-section ring, the said section being constricted by circular arcs with centers located on larger axis and those located between them with centers located on the lines passing through smaller axis. The sum of distances from the circular arc centers located on larger axis to the arc point located on the said larger axis exceeds the sum of distances from the aforesaid centers to whatever point on the oval. Arc radius on the smaller base side exceeds that on the larger base side. The angle between oval larger axes equals 40 to 80 degrees. The aforesaid flexible damping element incorporates an elastic tapered oval-section ring arranged between the cylindrical surface limiters furnished with flanges. The radius of the surface whereon cylindrical surface matches the flange thrust surface is equal to that of appropriate arcs.

EFFECT: rolling of flexible element over entire deformable surface.
