SUBSTANCE: proposed axle-box suspension comprises elastic conical circular element resting upon axle box housing or axle box housing mounts. Axle-box suspension elastically damping assembly comprises elastic element arranged in the housing with profiles inner surface and circular ledge interacting with said elastic element. Elastic element surrounds profiled-surface expanding ledge interacting with said elastic element. Housing and said ledge can be fixed on axle box housing and frame, or on bogie frame and axle box housing. Said elastic element can rest upon axle box housing via thrust plate that has a recess to accommodate flexible gasket. Elastic element seats in housing to embrace the ledge that takes up horizontal loads.
EFFECT: simpler design, higher reliability and safety, longer life.
