FIELD: power production; heating.

SUBSTANCE: connector for thermocouple to be coupled with magnet assembly of gas control valve to control gas flow in burner contains magnet assembly with the first pin contact connected with the magnet assembly conductor and inserted into the second tubular cylindrical contact. The connector is comprised of an insulating enclosure with central cylindrical element having been shaped as the inner cavity of the second tubular cylindrical contact of the magnet assembly. The central cylindrical element is provided with an opening coinciding with the first pin contact of the magnet assembly and contains the first tubular element in the above opening. The said contact is implemented so that it can be connected with the first pin contact of magnet assembly, while the central cylindrical element fits the second tubular cylindrical contact of magnet assembly. The connector is provided with the second socket contact being inside the insulating enclosure and having opening shaped as the external surface of the second tubular contact of magnet assembly. This contact of connector is coupled with the above-mentioned second tubular cylindrical contact of magnet assembly if the first pin contact of magnet assembly is connected to the first tubular contact of connector. The first tubular contact of connector is coupled with the conductor connected to the hot junction of thermocouple, while the second socket contact of connector is coupled with the conductor connected to the cold junction of thermocouple. The second socket contact shape is similar to the open cylindrical bushing. The insulating enclosure of the connector is provided with the side opening for radial installation of the second socket contact on the second tubular cylindrical contact of magnet assembly. The said opening is on the same level as the above-mentioned second tubular cylindrical contact of magnet assembly when the first tubular contact of the insulating enclosure is connected with the contacts of magnet assembly.

EFFECT: safe connection between thermocouple and magnet assembly, improved visual inspection of contact connection adequacy.
