SUBSTANCE: proposed hockey helmet designed for the user's head protection is composed of the crown and the hindhead sections. The helmet has a front piece and an inner hindhead pad contacting the use's head parietal and occipital regions accordingly. The inner hindhead pad is to be displaced (at the use's discretion) towards the head occipital region to provide for application of pressure onto the head occipital region and the helmet front piece displacement towards the head parietal regions.

EFFECT: invention provides for the helmet comfortably fitting on the user's head and the user being able to adjust it to one's head size without having to take the helmet off.
