FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed centrifugal separator intended for separating milk into fractions comprises milk tank, separating drum and its drive. Note here that the separating drum shaft and that of turbine make one piece. Note also that the turbine is mounted in chamber isolated from the separating drum and receives rotary motion from exhaust gas-air mixes. To control the turbine RPM, the turbine intake nozzle accommodates bypass device to take a portion of gasses off the turbine.
EFFECT: simpler design, higher reliability, reduced power consumption, expanded applications.
