FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: cream separator contains an electric drive, a receptacle-and-release device and a drum. The drum consists of a base whereon a plate holder with a package of plates and a separation plate with an adjustment screw are positioned, fixed with a cover having an O-sealing and fastened with a nut; even-numbered plates are plates while odd-numbered ones have small spikes for formation of an inter-plate space. Each plate has three holes on the conic surface; when the plates are assembled into the package, the holes form vertical supply channels. The vertical supply channels expand in the direction from the base to the cover with conicity equal to 1:2-2:1 due to successive increase of the plate holes diameter.

EFFECT: increased performance and improved quality of milk separation into cream and defatted milk.
