FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: automatic coupler absorbing device comprises casing (1) with open hexagonal neck (2) with friction surfaces (4) tapering off inside the casing and interacting with friction wedges (5). The said wedges take up the load from the pressure cone and transmit it, via pressure washer (7), to the set of flexible polymer elements. The pressure washer features inclined surface interacting with the mating surface of the said friction wedges, the inclination angle making 83°±2.5° to device casing central axis (10). Set of flexible polymer elements (14) is fitted in the casing on guiding rod representing coupling bolt (20) with its head located in the casing bottom recess. Note that the set flexible elements are press-fitted on the coupling bolt. Screw (24) of the latter, arranged in the pressure cone elongated to 145 mm, represents truncated cone with circular belt running from the truncated part and has closed end face.
EFFECT: higher reliability and stability of operation.
