SUBSTANCE: automatic center coupler draft gear comprises a housing in the form of cylindrical sleeve with a bottom, with a mounted therein elastic element and a pressure plunger in the form of a cone, which is pre-biased and fixed by the central clamping bolt. The elastic element is made of two parts separated by a movable piston. One part is a resilient push sleeve with a hole with a conical inner surface in contact with the cone of the pressure plunger. Another part is designed as a resilient retaining cylinder.
EFFECT: increased energy consumption of polymer-friction devices.
