FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: helicopter transmission tail shaft comprises tubular sections (1) with coupling flanges and bearing splined couplings (3, 4) jointing the sections together, torque measuring device with pickup (19) and two indicators representing toothed rims (13, 18). Length of one tubular section is taken to be the base of measurements. Note that this section is furnished with inner shaft (7) with one end rigidly attached to one end of the said section and its other end is mounted with the help of support (20) nearby the other end of the said tubular section. Note that the latter end is provided with an end flange arranged between the section coupling flange and that of the splined bearing sleeve to run free around the inner shaft end flange. Toothed rim of one inductor is fitted on the inner shaft end flange, while the other inductor toothed rim is located on the section coupling flange.

EFFECT: higher safety of helicopter.
