FIELD: chemistry; water purification.
SUBSTANCE: plant includes control unit with sensors, signalling and actuating devices, two superimposed vessels, refrigerating unit with heat exchangers surrounding upper vessel, heat-insulated air duct, compressor, fan, ozoniser, heavy water crystallisation sensor, mixed ozone and air diffusers, float valve, water filter and iced heavy water screen filter, pilot heat exchanger and toroidal purified water diffuser. The plant is designed as automaton, and enables to produce high-quality potable water purified from heavy water and contaminants. Efficiency of the plant is ensured with applied natural cold and even daily temperature vibrations, uniform cooling in the whole purified water volume, accuracy of evaluation for heavy water crystallisation final time and elimination of light water icing.
