STABILISATION OF THERMOPLASTIC NANOCOMPOSITES Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC C08L23/00 C08K3/34 C08K13/02 B82B1/00

Abstract RU 2350631 C2

FIELD: nanotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to nanocomposite material which can be implemented in various branches of engineering and also it refers to application of components mixture as stabilisers for polyolefin and to methods of stabilisation. Nanocomposite material consists of the following components: a) polyolefin, b) natural or artificial phyllosilicate or their mixture in form of nanoparticles modified with ammonium or phosphonic compounds, c) phenilic antioxidant and/or organic phosphites or phosphonites or benzofuran 2-ones, d) mono- or polyfunctional compound chosen from class including epoxides, oxazolines or anhydrides. Anhydrides correspond to the following combinations of formula AH-1 where R24 stands for radical of formula with AH-1a on AH-1j

where R25 stands for CH2-, -CH(CH3)-, -C(CH3)2-, C(CF3)2-, -S-, -O-, -(O)S(O)-, -NHCO-, -CO- or -P(O)(C1-C20alkyl)-, where aromatic rings in formulas from AH-1a till AH-1e are not displaced or displaced with one or several C1-C6alkyl groups,C1-C6alkoxygroups or with atoms of halogen. Mixture of components (b), (c) and (d) is used as stabilisers for polyolefin against oxidising, thermal or caused with light destruction. The method of polyolefin stabilisation includes introducing of at least one of components (b), (c) and (d) into mass or application onto material.

EFFECT: obtaining nanocomposite material with upgraded thermo-stability not prone to change of colour.
