FIELD: artificial polymers.
SUBSTANCE: present invention is related to the use of an ultraviolet radiation absorbing composition as a light stabilizer for a moulded artificial resin product. Moreover, the polymer is a synthetic polymer and/or a natural elastomer, and the composition includes a compound of general formula (I)
, where n and m, independently of each other, represent a number from 0 to 20, and at least one of m and n is ≥1; and X1, X2, X3, X4 and X5 are the same or different and are independently selected from H, C(O)R1, where R1 is alkyl of 8-24 carbon atoms, or groups of general formula (II)
, where R2 represents H or halogen. The invention is also related to a moulded product and to an extruded, cast or calendered polymer composition to produce a moulded product.
EFFECT: creation of a composition as a light stabilizer for a moulded product made of artificial polymer.
