FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes a composition containing (a) a polystyrene or polyolefin polymer, (b) talc as filler with average particle size of 0.4-25 mcm, contained in amount of 0.1-10% of the weight of the component (a), and (c) a dispersant which is based on a sorbitan ester, polyethylene-block-polyethylene oxide or an amphiphilic statistical, block or comb-like copolymer, where the copolymer contains C12-C32 alkyl(meth)acrylate. Disclosed also is a method of producing synthetic polymer material, involving mixing in molten state a mixture of said components and using dispersant (c) to disperse talc filler (b) in said polystyrene or polyolefin polymer matrix to obtain composite material.
EFFECT: disclosed compositions have higher modulus of elasticity in tension, breaking strength and temperature for thermal deformation under load.
