FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to material science, namely to methods for production of single crystals for crystallography, optics and electronics. Method consists in creation of supersaturation in solution, which is creared in the middle chamber of three-chamber electrolytic cell by supplying cations of synthesised salt from one of side chambers via cation-exchanging membrane, and by supplying anions of synthesised salt from the other side chamber via anion-exchange membrane, at that process of ion exchange is intensified by electrolysis, while electrodes are installed into side chambers, and their polarity is switched every 5-60 sec.
EFFECT: production of single crystals of water-insoluble salts of large size with high efficiency.
