FIELD: physics, measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field for determination of physical and mechanical properties of materials. Sample is monaxonically loaded in two cycles, and values of physical responses that accompany this loading are measured. The second sample made of the same core as the first one is also exposed to double-cycle loading. The first cycle of the first sample loading is realised in the mode of prohibited side deformations, and the second one - according to Karman diagram in the mode of triaxial axisymmetric compression. The second sample in the second cycle is loaded monaxonically, at that as sample responses in process of the second loading cycle, activity of acoustic emission is measured. Values of axial tensions ate measured, which correspond to maximum of acoustic emission activity of every sample, and Poisson coefficient is defined according to formula.

EFFECT: lower labour intensiveness.
