J-SPECTROSCOPY IN BORE HOLE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC G01V3/32

Abstract RU 2350985 C2

FIELD: physics, measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of geophysical survey in well on the basis of nuclear magnet resonance (NMR). Device based on NMR for determination of formation fluid properties comprises body adapted for displacement in bore hole, magnet installed in body and adapted for creation of static magnetic field, antenna device installed in body and adapted for resonating at the first frequency and the second frequency, and device for detection of NMR signals at the first frequency. Method includes induction of static magnetic field having selected intensity of magnetic field in the sample of earth formation, obtainment of NMR measurements, obtainment of nuclear magnetic resonance measurements having information about J connection, using device based on nuclear magnetic resonance, separation of modulated part that characterises J connection from non-modulated part and estimation of formation fluid property on the basis of information about J connection.

EFFECT: development of device aimed at increase of efficiency of J spectroscopy in bore hole.
