LAYERS EVALUATION WITH USE OF ARMORED MEANS MEASUREMENTS PERFORMED ACCORDING TO MAGNETIC RESONANCE METHOD Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2229594 C2

FIELD: layers properties evaluation technology. SUBSTANCE: armored means is placed moveably along well shaft, energy of electromagnetic field from armored means is transferred to layers and spin-echo signals of core-magnetic resonance are received several times in armored means with respective plurality of different transfer and receipt conditions for receiving a plurality of measurements. Layer model is formed, which in first embodiment includes several model components for salt water phase and several model components for natural oil phase, and which in second embodiment includes several model components for salt water phase and also includes several times of relaxation of natural oil for natural oil phase. Model components for model optimization on basis of measurements signals are modified, and model components for optimized model are outputted. During modification process of model components iterative modification may be performed. Layer model may additionally include a component of filtered boring solution with hydrocarbon base, and a gas component. On basis of outputted components layer characteristics may be received, like porosity, oil saturation, water saturation, viscosity, and diffusion coefficient. Measurements may be performed during movement of armored means along well shaft at certain speed. EFFECT: increased precision and lowered laboriousness of measurements. 2 cl, 19 dwg, 13 tbl, 4 ex
