SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to counterfeit protected information carriers. Description is given of an information carrier with a flat flexible base with at least, one deep stamping depression, in which an integrated microcircuit is put, as well as the method of making such an information carrier.
EFFECT: provision for reliable protection of the microchip embedded in the information carrier from possible simple detection and from mechanical loads.
