SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to photodiode devices, used in road traffic. The photodiode traffic light has two groups of photodiodes. One group of photodiodes is very bright and the other has a wide beam pattern. These groups alternate on the luminous surface of the traffic light. The input window is made from two films, joined by fixing crossbars. Half of the photodiodes have a positive switching polarity, while the other has a negative switching polarity. All photodiodes are connected to an alternating current source.
EFFECT: formation of the best radiation directivity, improvement of axial lighting force as well as simplification of the design of the traffic light.
