FIELD: electrics.
SUBSTANCE: claimed thermophotovoltaic transducer consists of concentric sequence of long-distance internal circular cylindrical emitter, reflector element set, photoelectric cell set with photosensitive side oriented towards emitter, and radiators conjugated with photoelectric cells. Reflector elements are made in the form curved lined surfaces turned by azimuth against each other, with their guide lines correlating to ellipse sectors with first focuses at emitter axis and second focuses in the centres of respective photoelectric cell pads.
EFFECT: saving of costly and rare material of heat screen (quartz glass); enhanced efficiency rate of transducer due to eliminated loss in heat screen, significant loss reduction in optical transmission of emitter radiation power to photoelectric cells and filtration of long-wave (infrared) emitter radiation with simultaneous (partial) radiation reversal to additional heating of emitter.
