FIELD: optical instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical instrument-making and relates to a reflective reflector which returns radiation in the optical range in the reverse direction. Reflector is made of a transparent solid material in the form of a hollow conical volumetric body with an opening angle of the outer side reflecting surface equal to 90 degrees. On the outer side surface of the conical volumetric body there is a reflecting coating, and on the inner surface there is a dielectric film in the form of a circular zone, which provides an annular directivity pattern of the reflected radiation. Under the reflecting coating there is a transparent thin film having a relative refraction index n and a thickness d, which enables to obtain reflected beams in a given wavelength range.
EFFECT: increasing the effective scattering surface, reducing energy losses, providing the possibility of selecting the colour of the reflected light beams and simplifying the manufacturing technology.
