FIELD: physics; radio.

SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to radio engineering and can be used for transmitting data in a wireless communications system. The method is characterised by that, a stream of coded data is generated, alternated and divided into No/2 data sub-streams. No/2 sequences of data quardrature-modulated symbols with pilot and protective symbols are generated. Inverse discrete Fourier transformations are carried out on each of the above mentioned sequences. The first and second sequences of quantisation increments are formed and converted into analogue signals. Packet and symbol synchronisation is carried out. Time multiplexing is done. The set of radio signals is transmitted on independent channels.

EFFECT: increased capacity of a wireless communications system and reduced power consumption.
