FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to equipment for processing food and fodder products through extrusion. The extruder comprises a detachable cylindrical body, inside of which there is an auger made from component parts. On the inner surface of parts of the cylindrical body on points where they are joined, there is a compression seal, which is a housing in form of rigidly joined together rings with grooves, in which there is an inner ring with grooves, fitted with possibility of rotating about the axis of the inner ring. The grooves on the inner ring can be shifted relative the grooves on the housing or can coincide with grooves on the housing. There is also a feeding device and an extrusion head at the end of the detachable cylindrical body of the auger, which leads to considerable reduction of reverse flow of extruded material.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of the process through reduction of reverse flow and temperature of the raw material in the run-off zone.
