FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy. Particularly it relates to manufacturing of powder materials for electrodes of chemical current sources. Charge, containing powders of nickel and iron, binding agent and 18-36 wt % of transformer, it is prepared by means of mechano-chemical activation in ball planetary-type mill during 0.4-1.6 hours. After it is formed blank, sintered, removed cellulating agent by means of cleaning in hot water and it is implemented additional sintering.
EFFECT: method provides receiving of material with high porosity and pores uniform distribution by volume.
