FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: nickel powder mixed with expanding agent is pressed at temperature of 500-550°C, pressure of 300-350 MPa during 30-40 minutes. Heating to pressing temperature is performed at speed of 8÷10°/min to 200°C, and then at speed of 70÷80°/min to 500-550°C. Compact is removed from press mould and cooled; after that compact is heated with the oven of up to 870÷880°C and exposed for 30-40 minutes. Sintered workpiece is cooled first during 10-15 minutes at the oven temperature of 300-350°C, and then in the air up to room temperature.

EFFECT: increasing material porosity and high characteristics of permeability and strength.
