FIELD: technological processes, metal working.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of thermal processing of products and may find its application for surface strengthening processing of finished products from heat resistant alloys that operate under increased temperatures and sign-alternating loads. Invention may also be used in restoration and repair of mentioned parts after their operation in product composition. In order to increase quality of strengthening and efficiency of strengthening process, to provide for closed cycle of processing, method for parts strengthening includes heating of parts to the temperature that is below phase transfer with the help of inducer, then inducer is switched off, and cooling by liquid is done under pressure of at least 8 atm. with the help of telescopic sprayer by means of its installation in space between inducer and parts. Method is realised in installation that comprises heating chamber in the form of inducer, girder with parts installed in it, sprayer for cooling connected to tank with liquid by means of guide tube and pump, at that sprayer is arranged with the possibility of advancement under effect of liquid pressure in space between inducer and girder with parts and its return into initial position by means of calibrated weight.
EFFECT: higher strengthening quality and efficiency of strengthening process, provision of closed processing cycle.
