FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolytic metallurgy field and can be used for studying bent products with protective coating forming mode. Process of manufacture of piston rings with protective coating made of aluminium or its alloy is defined by charging aluminium layer or its alloy on the bottom of steel vessel with cover, where it is located steel flat work with one coated with tin side, used as cathode, and steel vessel with aluminium or its alloy used as anode, air is evacuated, it is supplied inert gas and electrolyte in the form of melt of chlorides of lithium and potassium, heated till 700°C, with steel flat work dually bending during 5-15 minutes with dc current density 500 A/m2 with simultaneous sedimentation of protective coating made of aluminium and its alloy. Facility contains anode, implemented in the form of steel vessel with cover and pipelines for supply and withdrawal of electrolyte, cathode, implemented in the form of rod, located inside the internal cavity of steel vessel and fixed in cover with vertical displacement ability. Additionally anode and cathode are connected to constant-current source, in bottom part of rod it is located device for fastening of steel flat work, and internal surface of steel vessel is covered by diffusion layer, cover contains air exhaust and gas supply pipelines and electrically isolated from steel vessel body, and lengthwise all steel vessel body withoutside there are located heaters.
EFFECT: creation of the method and facility for simultaneous forming of bent products with protective coatings by means of isothermal, thermic and masses electrotransport.
