FIELD: textile, paper.
SUBSTANCE: device of fabric-directing roller drive contains engine, squeeze rolls, mechanism, kinematically connecting engine with squeeze rolls, installed on axis of fabric-directing roller friction slide clutch, whose driving half-coupling forms with fabric-directing roller axis rotatory kinematic pair, and driven half-coupling forms with roller axis translational kinematic pair, mechanism connecting kinematically driving squeeze roll and driving half-coupling, elastic body for transferring axial force to driven half-coupling. Device additionally contains planetary gear train, one inlet unit of which is rigidly connected either with roller axis or with driving half-coupling of friction slide clutch, and outlet unit is installed with possibility of performing helical motion relative to axis of rotation of fabric-directing roller shaft, is kinematically connected with elastic body and contains additionally system of braking other inlet units of planetary mechanism.
EFFECT: increase of produced fabric quality and increase of labour productivity due to possibility of regulating transferred force to roller jacket and, therefore, drawing fabric tight without stopping machine.
