FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to power engineering, particularly to gas valves used in gas fuel burners and can be used in gas burners of external steam and hot water boilers. The energy-independent gas valve has a stopper with a housing, on the thread of which is mounted a membrane device for controlling closing and opening of the valve of the stopper seat, which consists of a membrane with a rigid centre and rod, top and bottom covers, sealed to each other and the membrane. With provision for controlling the membrane, the top cover is fitted with a two-position damper, pressure source nozzle and drainage nozzle, throttle and pulse tubes. The membrane used for controlling the two-position damper is the second side of the membrane with a rigid centre with the under-membrane space insulated from the housing of the stopper with the valve seat. The housing of the stopper is used as the housing with the valve seat.
EFFECT: simplification of design, increased reliability and cost effectiveness.
