FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of true milk solution flavour analysis for formaldehyde vapour content, involves sample splitting and analytical signal recording. Novelty consists that detector is represented by the cell with quartz resonator with its electrodes pre-modified with spreading the sorbent: aqueous solution of tris-oxymethyl aminomethane; thereby film weight after solvent removal in drying chamber during 30 min at 40°C, is 10-15 mkg. Sampled true milk solution is placed in weighing bottle with maintained room temperature within 5 min. Balanced gas phase of true milk solution is sampled in volume 2 cm3 and delivered to detector cell through the hermetic seal. Herewith analytical signal is recorded after sample is delivered to detector cell every 5 sec until sorption system is balanced. Difference of vibration frequency of tris-oxymethyl aminomethane film modified piezoelectric resonator and vibration frequency of piezoelectric resonator in formaldehyde vapour sorption is used to calculate AF sensor response, Hz. Formaldehyde content is calculated by calibration curve equation of modified quartz resonator electrode response and formaldehyde concentration.
EFFECT: accelerated true milk solution flavour analysis for formaldehyde vapour content, ensured by elimination of sample preparation stage without applying complex and expensive equipment.
