FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: in disclosed invention rock is irradiated with pulses of fast neutrons; further there is performed: selective registration of gamma-radiation of inelastic scattering and gamma radiation of radiative capture, registration of signals proportional to concentration of carbon C and oxygen O in rock by means of applying inelastic scattering of spectral windows near characteristic lines 4.43 MeV and 6.1 MeV in spectrum of gamma radiation; generation of signal equal to ratio of signals from C and O, generating signals proportional to concentration of calcium Ca and silicon Si in rock by means of using inelastic scattering of spectral windows near characteristic lines 2.8 MeV and 1.78 MeV in spectrum of gamma radiation with following generation of signals of ratio Si/Ca or SiCa gamma radiation of radiative capture, generating synthetic three-component signal for each of used detectors of well apparatus, components of this signal present spectral ratios CO gamma radiation of inelastic scattering, SiCa gamma radiation of inelastic scattering, SiCa gamma radiation of radiative capture, then comparison of formed well synthetic three-component signal with reference three-component signals; on results of this comparison ratios of oil-water saturation of reservoir bed crossed with well are determined.
EFFECT: upgraded accuracy and reliability of assessment of reservoir bed saturation.
