FIELD: electrics.
SUBSTANCE: high-voltage impulse generator made in with gradual multiplication pattern includes high voltage source, load, sequence of accumulation condensers of all multiplication stages, separate throttle circuits, with one circuit connected over charge resistance to high-voltage output of high voltage power source and another circuit connected to general bus. One output of first accumulation condenser is connected to general bus, the other output is connected over charge resistance to high-voltage output of high voltage power source. Fist multiplication stage includes first accumulation condenser, throttle and common switchboard connected in sequence. The other multiplication stages form resonance LC circuits consisting of two adjoining accumulation condensers where one condenser is connected to current and previous circuit, and throttle connected parallel to them. Load is connected to general bus and intensifying discharger output. Additional accumulation condenser is connected to joining point of last accumulation condenser and throttle included in its LC circuit, and second output of additional condenser is connected by splitting element to middle point between condensers of last resonance LC circuit and to the other output of intensifying discharger.
EFFECT: enhanced generator performance and efficiency of electric power transmission from condensers to load due to higher output voltage maximum and stored electric power increase.
