FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to beekeeping and can be used for making beehive frames. Proposal is given of use of corroded steel wire after removal of rust and oxides from it, and coating it with anticorrosion coating, for making the ring of a beehive frame of the strap-ring type. The beehive frame consists of two component parts: an upper strap and a wire ring, replacing the rest of the three sides of the frame. The wire has a corroded relief surface, which provides for its durable connection to the honeycomb.
EFFECT: cheap frame and durable attachment of the reinforcement of the beehive frame to uneven surface of the ring.
