SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely, maxillofacial surgery, and can be used at open treatment of abscesses and phlegmons of peripharyngeal space. Its essence consists that the skin cut is spent in a dorsal mandibular area between the first line nodding muscle and back edge of a branch of a mandible to front to back border of the submandibular sialaden, receding from a conditional point of an angle of a mandible on the top cervical cord up 3.0 cm and from top to bottom 1.5-2.0 cm. The subcutaneous fat, platysma are dissected, then the own fascia of neck is dissect in the top department of the wound on a forward edge of the nodding muscle, and in the bottom of wound - between the bottom pole of parotid gland and submandibular gland. The low-back department of the parotid sialaden is cut together with a capsule from a forward edge of the nodding muscle and from submandibular sialaden. The low-back department of the parotid sialaden is displaced up and to front, and back department of the submandibular sialaden to front and from top to bottom. The fatty tissue is stratified on the posterointernal surface of a medial pterygoid muscle up and to the inside. After the revision of forward and back departments of peripharyngeal space, evacuation purulent separated with the subsequent antiseptic processing and a drainage of the purulent wound is made.

EFFECT: use of the given invention provides accelerated purification of all departments of peripharyngeal space, reduces risk of damage of regional branch of facial nerve and the further diffusion of is purulent-infectious process in tissue neck and mediastinum spaces.
