FIELD: personal effects.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to hygiene and can be used for oral care. The oral care instrument contains a head and at least one flange advancing from the head and used to clean soft tissues of the mouth. The flange is formed with two components including the first component, made of the first material, and the second component made of the second material. The first and second materials are different, and the second component is thermoplastic elastomer. The first component is generated as an integral part of the head and passes aside essentially across the whole head surface. There are maintained two other versions of the instrument. According to one design the flange is made of solid and soft materials combined.

EFFECT: solid material provides good strength for cleaning deposits from the tongue or other tissues while soft material provides comfort and lower risk of damages.
