FIELD: anti-gas technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to anti-gas technology and can be used in anti-gas filters, which use sorbents as the filtering-absorbing medium. The anti-gas filter has housing and sorbent. In the interior space of the housing in-front of the zone of distribution of the sorbent is installed a source of radiation in the wavelength range of light, of the absorbed adsorbate changing to an excited state, in which case adsorption increases. Semiconductor light-emitting diodes or laser diodes can be used as the specified radiation sources.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of filtration and increase in the time of the protective action of the ant-gas filter without interference in its filtering-absorbing medium is provided.
