FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed machine comprises a bed, fuel element holding bin, fuel element package carcass with fixed spacer grids, linear drive, x-y building positioner, mechanism of axial drive, at least, one additional fuel element holding bin, at least, one additional fuel element package carcass with fixed spacer grids, additional drive to move the said building positioner from one assembly position to another and mechanism to fit the heat onto the fuel element package carcass. The fuel element axial drive mechanism moves the fuel element, first, vertically upwards after removing it from the holding bin, and, then, vertically downwards on pressing the fuel element into its package spacer grids. The additional holding bin and additional fuel element package carcass are arranged parallel to each other, with the center-to-center distance between them being equal to that between the said holding bin and fuel element package carcass.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and simplified assembly.
