FIELD: mechanics, production processes.
SUBSTANCE: sulfur structure stabiliser additive is introduced into impregnation chamber containing sulfur melt, the additive amount making 2 to 5 wt %. Abrasive tool is dipped into the chamber. The tool impregnated, the chamber melt temperature is increased to 180 to 190°C and kept up for 20 to 30 min. Now, the tool is withdrawn from the chamber to be quickly cooled at the rate of 30 to 40°C/min.
EFFECT: higher impregnation quality, lower power consumption and higher efficiency.
