FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of abrasive machining and may be used in production of large and highly porous abrasive tool. The latter is submerged into impregnation chamber with solution or melt of impregnator, where ferromagnetic particles are introduced with size of 5-20 mcm in amount of 15-30% from impregnator volume. And at the moment of tool extraction from chamber with impregnator and during drying or cooling it is exposed to external magnet field to harden impregnator in tool pores.
EFFECT: quality of impregnation, process efficiency, tool strength and its heat conductivity are increased, and process power intensity is also reduced.
