FIELD: production and operation of fine-grained abrasive tool based on ceramic binder. SUBSTANCE: method consists in heating, maintaining and cooling of tool. After cooling tool is impregnated with hydrophobic impregnator. Cooling is performed in the open air to temperature of impregnator process medium. The invention makes it possible to preserve strength qualities of abrasive grain and to use water cutting fluids in process of operation. EFFECT: improved evenness and fullness of tool impregnation. 3 tbl
