FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: aluminium oxide is defined by BET surface area, equal from 100 till 250 m2/g, dibutylphthalate absorption is from 50 till 450 g/100 g powdery aluminium oxide. At received by means of transmission electron microscopy high definition image there are discovered only crystalline primary particle. Aluminium oxide is received by means of aluminium chloride evaporation, its vapors feeding into mixing chamber by means of gas-carrier. Irrespective of it into mixing chamber it is fed hydrogen, primary air, which not necessarily can be enriched by oxygen and/or not necessarily preheated. Mixture of aluminium chloride vapors, hydrogen and air is burnt by burner, while flame fills all reaction chamber, protected against access for environmental air. After it solid matter is separated from gaseous substances and it is treated by vapor and not necessarily by air.
EFFECT: more qualitative aluminium oxide and its usage in the capacity of ink absorbing substances in mediums for ink-jet printing, in the capacity of abrasive in dispersion for polishing of oxide and metallic coating.
