FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of mixed titanium and silicon dioxide and titanium-containing zeolites. The method of producing pyrogenic powder of mixed titanium and silicon dioxide, having BET specific surface area of 200-400 m2/g, involves evaporation of 97.0±1.5 wt % silicon halide (in terms of SiO2) and 3.5±1.0 wt % titanium halide (in terms of TiO2). The vapours are fed into a mixing chamber. Hydrogen and primary air are separately fed into the mixing chamber. The mixture of vapours of silicon halide and titanium halide, hydrogen-containing combustible gas and primary air are burnt in a burner and the flame is directed into the reaction chamber. Further, secondary air is fed into the reaction chamber. The solid substance is then separated from the gaseous substances and freed from halogen-containing substances via treatment with water vapour at temperature 250-700°C. Described is a dispersion which contains this powder and versions of the method of preparing a titanium-containing zeolite based on the powder or dispersion.

EFFECT: invention shortens the duration of producing the zeolite.
