FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns the technology of obtaining of gel solutions on the basis of modified carboxymethyl cellulose, and can be used when manufacturing of chisel solutions, or as a preventive maintenance agent intraoperational drying of peritoneum and formation of postoperative adnations at operations on the organs having a serous covering. In method of reception of gel on the basis of carboxymethyl cellulose an initial product carboxymethyl cellulose in the sodium form (Na-CMC) at first is thermally processed at 120-140°C during 5-30 min, and then dissolved in water at 18-25°C with formation of a more viscous 0.02-4.5% gel solution with the raised viscosity.

EFFECT: simplification of technological process of reception of gel on the basis of modified carboxymethyl cellulose, depression of its cost, higher viscosity of solutions, expansion of area of their application.
