SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and namely to abdominal surgery. A gel of sodium salt of carboxymethylcellulose is applied to the wound surface of the parenchymal organ, the deserted area and the surface of adjacent organs by application with a spatula and/or the surgeon's hands during the operation. The gel is preliminarily made from sodium carboxymethylcellulose - 6 wt.% and 5% of aminocaproic acid solution - 94 wt.%. In this case, the gel is applied at the rate of 4 ml per 2 cm2 of the wound surface area.

EFFECT: method allows evenly distributing the drug between the wound surface of the parenchymal organ, the peritoneum and adjacent internal organs of the abdominal cavity, prevents adhesion at the site of manipulation and the abdominal cavity as a whole and stops bleeding.
