FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes products stacking into waterproof container, pumping-out of atmospheric air from internal cavity of container, its filling by protective gas, products heating in furnace and products cooling together with container. After stacking of products into internal cavity of container it is additionally introduced reducer, placing it nearby side surface of container, heated by means of heating element. Furnace is implemented with pocket for placement in it reducer, formed by partition with bottom, fixed on side surface of metallic sleeve, at that at least one of pocket surfaces is implemented with reach-through holes, and bin is implemented beveled from the side of pocket partition.
EFFECT: improvement of copper strip and complete elimination of roll surface oxidation, oxide film destruction during the process of copper strip thermal processing.
