SUBSTANCE: invention relates to band-based belt-type structures manufacture method. The bands are made from hard thermoplastic resin covering fiber-like matrix. The method provides for band lying across machine direction - AcM on the core surface and band lying along machine direction - AlM and above bands directed AcM. Following band lying, core with AcM and AlM directed band coils are exposed to high temperatures and pressure in order to melt resin. Melted resin covers matrix with fibers being in bands directed both AcM and AlM. After that, produced belt-type structure is solidified with its surface being polished until the required thickness is achieved.
EFFECT: possibility of reinforcing elements introduction into belt-like structure avoiding belt thickness increase.
