FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed soil-reinforced straining structure comprises a face wall, filled-up ground, flexible reinforcing elements and anchor blocks. The said face wall represents a solid surface anchored at the structure upper and lower parts. The structure body accommodates reinforced strips-enclosures filled as the structure deforms and upsets and inclined flat or corrugated reinforcing strips terminating in an enclosure- absorbing wall with holes filled with sorbents and communicating with drain systems. The storm run-off device is jointed to upper anchor block. The said face surface and reinforcing strips are made from composite or nanomaterials that feature memory. The said face wall is laid onto the prepared foundation and anchored. Then, land filling, dampening and compaction are carried out. To hold the structure in design position, a shutter trestle is mounted. The reinforcing strips are fitted into the face wall by flexible linkage. First, inclined, flat corrugates reinforcing strips are laid, then the horizontal reinforcing strips-enclosures are laid to be filled as the structure deforms and upsets. Land filling over, the procedure is resumed.

EFFECT: possibility of using low load-carrying capacity soils as building foundations.
