FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: turbofan engine comprises housing, fan casing panels, front casing, front suspension outer casing, nozzle casing, rows of gas generator panels and turbine casing panels, as well as engine plant with nozzle and sound absorbing components. The latter are arranged on the fan casing panels, front casing, front suspension outer casing, nozzle casing, rows of gas generator panels and turbine casing panels. These components incorporate flow and out-of-flow perforated walls, as well as front and rear layers of fillers and are made from polymer composite fibrous material. The front and rear layers of fillers represent honeycomb structures with out-of-flow perforated or tubular walls between them. Ratios of heights of the front and rear layers of fillers make 8…22/15…6, while those of perforation of the flow and out-of-flow perforated walls make 12…7/10…2 depending upon prevailing sound waves at the mounting seats of the engine shock absorbing components.
EFFECT: improved sound absorption and reduced engine weight.
